Civil Service Commission
The Civil Service System was developed to assure fair and impartial treatment for all classified Civil Service Employees.

In municipal government this includes all uniformed personnel -- police officers and firefighters. The Civil Service Commissioners see that all hiring, firing, and promotions receive due process and fair treatment.
The Civil Service Commission meets on the third Tuesday of the month, as needed, in the Mayor's Office. Meetings are open to the public.
