The mission of the Cheney Parks & Recreation Department is to create community through people, parks and programs.
Cheney Parks & Recreation offers activities for all ages, from youth to adults and senior citizens. Whether you are looking for health and fitness activities, crafts, cultural outings, or adult education -- we have it all!

Cheney has over 40 acres of municipal developed park land which includes an outdoor swimming pool, many playgrounds and picnic areas, as well as athletic fields.
We offer a year-round recreation program with a variety of classes for all ages.
In the immediate surrounding area, there are many lakes and streams for fishing, boating and swimming.
There is a 3.5-mile paved recreational trail (Fish Lake Trail) immediately adjacent to Cheney for bicyclists, roller blades and walking.
We are taking registrations for Summer Preschool! Call 509.498.9250 to register for June, July or August Preschool.
