Cheney Youth Commission Mission Statement

Provide, promote, and coordinate the activities of the youth in order to:

• Create a way for the youth express themselves in creative ways.
• Strive to create ways for the youth to benefit the community.
• Optimize the use of any funds acquired through solicitation or donation for the benefit of the area youth.
• Strive to provide activities for the purpose of the general health and welfare of the area youth.
• Create and maintain an open channel of communication between area youth and adults.
• Unite the spirit of the community through provision, promotion, and coordination of activities for the area youth with adults within the community.
