Snow and Ice Removal Policy

In most instances, when snowfall accumulations are less than two inches, the Streets and Transportation Division will focus its efforts on traction control measures to address ice on the roadways.� Traction control measures include the use of magnesium chloride which is a liquid application, and the other traction control material utilized is sand.�
