Senior Planner
The City of Cheney is recruiting to fill a Senior Planner position within the Community Development Department. This is an advanced, professional-level urban planning position performing a range of urban, land use and environmental planning work. Work involves administering both current and long term planning activities to ensure compliance with the City Comprehensive Plan, development regulations, and the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in urban planning and five years experience in city or county planning related to urban or regional planning; or a master’s degree in urban planning or a related field and two years of progressively responsible experience in city or county planning.
