We are currently transitioning from the visioning phase to the goals and strategies portion of the comprehensive plan rewrite. You have all helped us create an excellent vision statement which will lead us through the process. However, we still need as much community input as ever to put us on the best path towards Cheney’s future.
 
We will continue to hold outreach meetings for the community. The purpose of these meetings is to answer questions and receive comments on a more personal basis. If you are part of a group that would like to meet with us, please give us a call at 498-9240.

Additionally, we have created a blog. The purpose is to create a more dynamic resource to keep the community up to date on the rewrite process. However, we will also have other interesting posts on a range of subjects. It will give us all a means to interact, learn about the process, and have some fun along the way.
