About the Department
Cheney Fire is a combination career/volunteer department that provides full-service fire protection, fire prevention, hazardous materials response, rescue, and emergency medical services to over 12,000 residents. The department responds to approximately 1,461 calls annually out of one station.
Employees & Equipment
We are a combination department with part-paid volunteers, four residents, nine full-time line firefighters, and two full-time administrative staff. We have one station that houses two engines, a pumper/ladder truck, a medical unit, a support unit, and a brush truck.
