About the Department

Cheney Fire is a combination career/volunteer department that provides full service fire protection, fire prevention, hazardous materials response, rescue, and emergency medical services to over 11,000 residents. The department responds to approximately 1,461 calls annually out of one station.

Employees & Equipment

We are a combination department with part paid volunteers, four residents, nine full-time line firefighters, and two full-time administrative staff.  We have one station that houses two engines, one pumper/ladder truck, a medical unit, a support unit, and one brush truck.
