The Mayor appoints citizen boards to advise the Mayor and City Council on various specialized topics. Boards and commissions usually meet monthly, and meetings are open to the public.
Historic Preservation Commission Vacancy
The City of Cheney is seeking someone to fill a current vacancy on the Historic Preservation Commission. Serving on a city board or commission affords citizens the opportunity to participate in the citywide effort to address important issues. Persons interested in future vacancies are also encouraged to apply.
