About the Commission
The City's Historic Preservation Commission is charged with identifying and promoting preservation of the community's historic resources. (CMC 19.22)
The Cheney Historic Preservation Commission is a Certified Local Government (CLG), maintaining a local Register of Historic Places, and recommending properties for listing on the Washington Heritage Register and the National Register of Historic Places. Commission members serve three-year terms.
