Responsibilities

The City Administrator is responsible for implementation of policies established by the City Council and for providing direction to City departments.

About the City Administrator

The City Administrator is appointed and serves under the direction, supervision, and authority of the Mayor. The City Administrator is the executive and liaison officer for the City. This position directs the administration of city government and leadership in both short- and long-term goals, including the City's budgeting process. Under the Mayor's direction, the City Administrator manages and coordinates City operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services for the City of Cheney. The City Administrator works with the City Council in implementing legislative policy.
