Dan Hilton grew up in Cheney and was his family’s third generation to graduate from Cheney High School. Dan went on to obtain a BA in Economics from the University of Washington and an MS in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University.
Dan was elected to Cheney City Council in 2015. He has served on the Public Works and Utilities Committee and on the Public Safety Committee. His previous civic involvement included serving as a board member on the Cheney Pathways to Progress Board of Directors.
Dan is currently a real estate broker for Hilton Real Estate. As such, he was instrumental in bringing the Sears Hometown Store to Cheney. He formerly served as a cross country coach at EWU.
Dan is married to Keri, and they have two sons and a daughter.
