Cheney Clean Sweep

Polish & Shine

For the 16th year in a row, the Cheney community is invited to help out one morning in April to put the shine and polish on our city!  Clean Sweep is set for Saturday, April 15, 2023..

Volunteers Needed: Volunteers will work on cleaning up a specific area of the city. Choose to work in your own neighborhood, or pick up a ‘hotspot’ map and concentrate on a particular area that needs some help.

The Plan:  If you can help, meet at Veterans' Memorial Park on Saturday morning between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. to get a cup of coffee and donut, and pick up an assignment.  Volunteers will spread out across the community for litter pickup between 9:00 and noon, then return to the park for FREE lunch, courtesy of our Clean Sweep sponsors.

Bringing Your Posse?  Please RSVP with your name and the number in your group by calling (509) 498-9240 so we can plan to have enough lunch items!
