Drop-Off Sites

Dumpster Drop-Off

Locations and Hours: 9 to 11:30 a.m.
To encourage residents in their Spring Cleaning efforts, a drop-off site will be available for FREE disposal of household garbage, construction debris and fencing, and metals, such as BBQs, bike frames, etc. (but no furniture, please!)

Open to Residents


The Drop-Off Site is open to residents of the Cheney Utilities service areas. You may need to provide proof of residency, such as a copy of your utility bill, to use this service. Visit the drop-off bins at Amazing Grace Fellowship, 416 Betz Road.

Tire & Battery Drop-Off


Unwanted, unmounted tires may be dropped off for free recycling at Les Schwab Tire Center, 7 Spokane Street, from 9 a.m. to noon.  Limit of 4 tires per person, please.

  • Mounted tires will be accepted for just $4 apiece for passenger and light truck tires, $12 for mounted truck tires. Limit: 4 tires per person, please.
  • Unmounted farm tires will be accepted for $8 - $20 apiece depending on tire size, and mounted tires will be priced depending on size.
