Cheney Rodeo Days, a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA)-sanctioned event where cowboys compete for a share of $40,000 in prize money, is held at the Bi-Mart Arena during the 2nd weekend in July. For additional information, visit the Cheney Rodeo website. Geographic Setting
Cheney's unique geographic setting can be attributed to cataclysmic floods that occurred at the end of the last Ice Age. The Cheney-Spokane Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute offers periodic educational opportunities, as well as materials to help visitors take self-guided tours.University Life

The Cheney Merchants Association (CMA) is a group of business owners, organizations, and community leaders working together to promote a dynamic marketplace in Cheney.
