Resolutions


1.

22-001 - Resolution E-981 - IAFF Labor Contract

2022-2024 International Association of Firefighters Local #1919 labor contract with wage increases and additional changes to the terms of the labor agreement.

22-002 - Resolution E-982 - City Facilities HVAC Service Agreements

The City of Cheney contracts with DIVCO for heating and air conditioning maintenance for the City Hall, Utility Building, Recycling Center, Police Station, Fire Station and the Wren Pierson Building.  Staff is recommending renewal of the service agreements.  All agreements will now be under the same renewal schedule.

22-003 - Resolution E-983 - 2022 Solid Waste Truck Purchase

The Solid Waste Residential Truck is scheduled for replacement in 2022.  Staff is recommending replacing the truck through Sourcewell contract.

22-004 - Resolution E-984 - 2022 Street Sweeper Purchase

The Street Sweeper is scheduled for replacement in 2022.  Staff is recommending replacing the Street Sweeper through Sourcewell contract.

22-005 - Resolution E-985 - Light Shop Office Remodel Project Appropriation Increase

Resolution E-901 authorized the mayor to enter into an agreement with Big Timber Contractors, LLC for the 2021 Light Shop Office Remodel Project. During the course of the remodel, additional work items were required to be addressed including mold remediation, code adherence to meet air circulation requirements, and material cost increases for the purchase and installation of custom windows and office dividers. Big Timber submitted a quote in the amount of $ 20,231 to address the additional work items. Staff is recommending an appropriation increase from the original amount of $ 104,200 to $ 126,500 in order to complete the work in Change Order One.

22-006 - Resolution E-986 - 2022 Water Reservoir Cleaning Contract Award

The Public Works Department requested services to clean and inspect five City water reservoirs.  Inland Potable Services submitted a proposal in the amount of 11,210.00 plus applicable tax.
