Resolutions


1.

21-001 - Resolution E-876 - Capitol Consulting Contract for Consulting Services

Resolution E-876 would authorize the City to enter into a contract with Capitol Consulting (Debora Mungia) for consulting services for the term beginning January 1, 2021 through December 31,2022 with the option to renew annually for up to five years by mutual agreement of parties.

21-002 - Resolution E-877 - 2021-2022 City of Cheney - Cheney Police Guild Labor Contract

2021-2022 Labor Contract with the Cheney Police Guild.  Contains a 2% COLA for 2021, which is fully funded the in the approved 2021 City of Cheney Budget.

21-004 - Resolution E-878 - Interim Agreement for Indigent Defense Professional Services

Agreement with attorney Karen Lindholdt for interim public defense services provided to indigent persons charged with misdemeanant crimes filed in the City of Cheney Municipal Court.

21-005 - Resolution E-879 - Appropriation Increase Replacement Well 3 Pump House Project

The City Council authorized the Mayor to sign a contract with Wesslen Construction on 3/12/2019 for the 2019 Replacement Well 3 Pump House Project. Staff is requesting an appropriation increase to cover additional work and quantities to the project. Original appropriation was $668,600.00. Staff requests an increase of $13,400 for a total appropriation of $682,000.00 including taxes.

21-006 - Resolution E-880 - BNSF Fiber Optic License Agreement

The BNSF License Agreement is a 25-year agreement for the City to install and maintain fiber optic under BNSF rail lines as part of the Cheney Purple Pipe Project.  License Agreement is an eligible design cost.

21-007 - Resolution E-881 - BNSF Water Main License Agreement

The BNSF License Agreement is a 25-year agreement for the City to install and maintain a water main under BNSF rail lines as part of the Cheney Purple Pipe Project.  License Agreement is an eligible design cost.
7.

21-008 - Resolution E-882 - Light Department Foreman Pickup Truck Purchase

The Light Department had planned for this to be purchased in 2022.  Request to make this purchase in 2021 in order to sell the Pickup to be replaced, to Public Works which needs a Street Shop Pickup.  The purchase meets bid requirements as Columbia Ford has the State Bid for this type of equipment (Contract 05916).

21-009 - Resolution E-883 - Authorization to Execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement

A resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign a purchase and sale agreement on behalf of the City to acquire vacant land for future use/projects.
