Public Hearings

1.

20-001 - Public Hearing for Vacation of Street Right of Way - Mary Street

The City Council passed Resolution E-783 on November 26, 2019 for the purpose of scheduling a hearing on January 14, 2020 on the matter of a petition filed by Northwest Renovators who owns more than two-thirds of the property abutting the requested vacation.  Northwest Renovators is seeking approximately 16,000 s.f. of city right-of-way to vacate for the purpose of commercial development frontage on SR 904.  The vacation would allow the two properties to adjoin.  The right-of-way that would be vacated would appear to be of nominal value as provided for under CMC 12.50.030, however, the city would retain necessary access and utility easements.
