Resolutions

1.

20-008 - Resolution E-799 - AE Cheney Land Memorandum of Correction

The Public Works Department is recommending that the City of Cheney to sign the Notice of Correction, as Parcel “E” (10 acre corner parcel) was never intended to be part of the joint development agreement, as the agreement only pertained to the raw land owned by “AE Cheney Land LLC” and the “City of Cheney.”
2.

20-009 - Resolution E-800 - Columbia Rural Electric Association Safety Training Service Agreement

The Light Department budgeted for annual safety and loss prevention services for 2020 and recommends hiring Columbia Rural Electric Association (CREA) to provide the services.  Cost is $1,750.00 per month or $21,000 per year.
3.

20-011 - Resolution E-802 - Covered Storage Bldg Roof Replacement Contract

The covered storage building currently does not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines and therefore will not be warrantied. Halme Builders is certified by the manufacturer of the building. The cost of the roof replacement will be using the remaining project funds of $11,484.78 and $30,944.84 being paid by United Casualty.
4.

20-012 - Resolution E-803 - United Casualty and Surety Agreement

This agreement is with the bonding company from the original Itasca Construction contract.  Itasca Construction has been declared in default. This agreement allows the City to have the covered storage building roof to be replaced to meet the manufacturer’s guidelines. United Casualty will fund the balance of the roof replacement as well as attorney fees.
