Resolutions


1.

21-034 - Resolution E-900 - Solar Energy Services Contract

On February 23rd City Council approved the Mayor to negotiate a Solar Energy Service Agreement with Apollo Solutions.  A proposal was received from Apollo Services in an amount not to exceed $19,000 for the Energy Grade Audit and assistance with grant applications.

21-035 - Resolution E-901 - Light Shop Office Remodel Project

The City of Cheney requested a quote from Big Timber Contractors, LLC for the Light Shop Office Remodel in order to create more physical space between employees and space for technical equipment. Big Timber has successfully performed other projects for the City and is currently demonstrating proficient workmanship on the Finance Office Remodel. The Light Shop Office Remodel was approved as a Discretionary Item for 2021.

21-036 - Resolution E-902 - Finance Department Teller Window Improvement Project Change Order Four

The Finance Teller Windows Improvement Project currently has an appropriation amount of $122,000 which covers the constructions costs of Phase I - three new teller stations, Phase II - a new Directors Office and Conference room for a combined total of $118,358.05. Staff is requesting approval of Change Order Four, to construct Phase III - three additional offices. This is an appropriation increase of $66,000.00, making the total appropriation for this project $188,000.

At the Planning Commission Meeting on March, 9, 2020, the Commission recommended to send the ordinance as is to City Council.

21-028 - Ordinance X-83 - Landscaping Ordinance

At the Planning Commission Meeting on March, 9, 2020, the Commission recommended to send the ordinance as is to City Council.

3.

21-037 - Ordinance Y-3 - 2021 Salary Ordinance

This 2021 Salary Ordinance includes a 1.25% increase and a deferred compensation match increase to $160 per month for AFSCME Local 270-C members.
