Resolutions


1.

18-037 - Resolution E-612 - Interlocal with EWU PD for ACCESS Services

This is a renewal of an interlocal agreement with EWU PD for ACCESS entry services.

18-038 - Resolution E-613 - Re-conductor Project

The Light Department requested sealed bids for the 2018 Re-conductor Project. The City received two bids with Potelco Inc. being the lowest responsive bidder with an amount of $ 173,543.00 plus tax.

18-039 - Resolution E-614 - Covered Storage Project

The Light Department requested sealed bids for the 2018 Covered Storage Project. The City received four bids with Itasca Construction being the lowest responsive bidder with an amount of $ 96,900.00 plus taxes.

18-040 - Resolution E-615 - Engineering Design Standards Amendment

City staff is recommending amendments to the current Design Standards that were adopted in 2011. The purpose of these standards is to establish uniform requirements to promote public safety, welfare, convenience, aesthetics, and economical maintenance of public and private improvements.  These standards shall govern the design of new construction and improvements to all streets, sewers, water lines, and other utilities.  In addition, these Standards do not prohibit innovative efforts that could achieve the intent of these Standards through a design variance process.

18-042 - Resolution E-617 - Update Line Extension Policy

This policy update includes provision for high density data center loads and clarification on our charges for new service installations.

18-044 - Resolution E-618 - WWC Loader Purchase NJPA Contract

The PW Department has budgeted for the purchase of a loader for Waste Water Collection to replace the 2004 model.  The purchase of the loader meets bid requirements through the City of Cheney’s membership agreement with the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA).

18-046 - Resolution E-619 - EMS Levy Ballot Proposition

The current Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Levy is in year 6 of 6 for the property tax assessment. The City is in need to renew the 6 year assessment of $.50/$1,000 assessed valuation for fund emergency medical personnel. The renewal levy will serve 2019 - 2024.  The primary election is to be held August 7, 2018. Deadline to submit the authorizing resolution with the ballot measure is May 11, 2018.
