Virtual Participation

In response to Governor Inslee's Proclamation 20-28.1 regarding Open Public Meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be a physical meeting location for the City Council meeting.  In addition to and based on guidance from the Washington State Attorney General, the City Council will only be considering "necessary and routine" items so as to ensure the continuity of government services.  Issues involving changes to city policy or regulation will not be presented for consideration of the City Council during the time period identified in the Governor's Proclamation.  The public is encouraged to attend the meeting by clicking on the link or calling the phone number below.

Resolutions


1.

20-031 - Resolution E-819 - Commute Trip Reduction

The attached Interlocal agreement with Spokane County will provide Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) services through June 30, 2021. The County is allocated from the State of Washington $7,126.22 to provide CTR services to the City of Cheney through June 30, 2021

20-032 - Resolution E-820 - City of Cheney Annex into Spokane County Hazard Mitigation Plan

5-yr renewal of the County Hazard Mitigation Plan as required by federal legislation for the Disaster Mitigation Act and as a prerequisite for some funding available under the Robert T. Stafford Act in the event of a federally declared disaster.

20-033 - Resolution E-821 - Washington Street Preservation Project Supplemental Agreement

Council approved the original agreement for the Washington Street Preservation Project on November 18, 2019 for preliminary engineering services. The Supplemental Agreement is for construction engineering services in the amount of $ 82,854.50.
