In response to Governor Inslee's Proclamation 20-28.2 regarding Open Public Meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be a physical meeting location for the City Council meeting.  In addition to and based on guidance from the Washington State Attorney General, the City Council will only be considering "necessary and routine" items so as to ensure the continuity of government services.  Issues involving changes to city policy or regulation will not be presented for consideration of the City Council during the time period identified in the Governor's Proclamation.  The public is encouraged to attend the meeting by clicking on the link or calling the phone number below.  If you have technical difficulties, please call 509-498-9255.

Resolutions


1.

20-033 - Resolution E-821 - Agenda Washington Street Preservation Project Supplemental Agreement

Council deferred the supplemental agreement for the Washington Street Preservation Project on April 28th for construction engineering services. The Supplemental Agreement is for construction engineering services in the amount of $ 109,992.73 which includes materials testing performed by Budinger.  In addition to the materials testing, additional language was added to the scope for hours clarification and also a project certification from the Engineer.

20-034 - Resolution E-822 - Kalispel Tribe ACCESS Contract

This resolution allows the Cheney Police Department to provide ACCESS system services to the Kalispel Tribe of Indians Police Department. Attached is a 36-month contract, including compensation, for such services.

20-035 - Resolution E-823 - UB Covered Storage Building North Wall Construction

The Light Department’s Covered Storage building has an open North side that needs a wall to be constructed to protect the stored equipment and keep the elements out.  Halme Builders recently reconstructed the roof and is certified by the manufacturer to construct this type of building.  Halme quoted $9,000 plus tax to build the North Wall to match the existing building.

20-036 - Resolution E-824 - Product Service Plan Agreement with Stryker Medical

A resolution authorizing the mayor to sign a three-year product service agreement with stryker medical for the provision of inspection and repair of two LIFEPAK 15 monitor/defibrillators.
