19-036 - Resolution E-726 - Lodging Tax Disbursement

The City of Cheney Lodging Tax Committee has met and reviewed one additional funding request for Spring/Summer 2019: Cheney Events Association (Cheney Rodeo) - $13,000. The committee recommends funding the request $4,000 for insurance.

19-037 - Resolution E-727 - IT Server Update

The City’s network servers are in need for some software upgrades and related programming. This project is phase 1 of a 3 phase project that will update the servers to provide current software and efficiencies. Phase 2 will be coming early fall with Phase 3 in 2019. Critical servers are being addressed in Phase 1 by updating the required software to supported versions.

19-038 - Resolution E-729 - Water Rate Design Study Consultant Agreement

A rate review was scoped as part of the request for qualifications for the Water Study.  FCS has provided a scope of work for a revenue-neutral rate design study to address ongoing policy needs of the City.

19-039 - Resolution E-730 - Water Wastewater SCADA Support Services Contract Award

A Request for Proposals was advertised for professional services for technical support and maintenance of the City’s Water and Wastewater Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.  City staff has reviewed the proposals and recommends entering into a contract with Inland Automation for SCADA support services.

19-040 - Resolution E-731 - 2019 Sidewalk Project Award

The Public Works Department requested quotes for the 2019 Sidewalk Project.  We received two quotes with Five Star Concrete Inc. submitting the lowest quote for $ 41,317.00. The project includes sidewalk removal and replacement over several areas of the City.

19-042 - Resolution E-733 - 2019 Transformer Purchase Bid Award

The Light Department issued an invitation to bid for the purchase of transformers. General Pacific provided the lowest bid for all sizes at $55,913.67 plus tax.

Amending Title 23 to add a new section entitled “Transportation Impact Fees”.

Amending CMC 23.10 entitled “Concurrency Determination” to add language relating to system improvements.
