20-047 - Resolution E-834 - Fire Dept PPE Extractor and Dryer Purchase

Purchase of PPE Extractor and Dryer.

20-048 - Resolution E-835 - CARES Utility Assistance Program

Resolution E-835 will authorize the CARES Utility Assistance Program utilizing $25,000 of the CARES funding accepted with Resolution E-829. The program will be administered through Cheney Outreach with notification of the program being sent with the 1st late notices July – Oct and on the City website.

20-049 - Resolution E-836 - Asphalt Repair Contract Appropriation Increase

The City Council authorized the Mayor to sign a contract with Inland Asphalt on 4/14/2020 for Asphalt Repairs.  Staff is requesting an appropriation increase to cover additional asphalt patching. Original appropriation was $14,700.00. Staff requests an increase of the appropriation to $20,000.00 including taxes.

20-050 - Resolution E-837 - Pedestrian and Bicycle Route Safety Project Federal Aid Prospectus

The City received state funding in the amount of $ 598,619 for the Cheney High and Betz Elementary Pedestrian and Bicycle Route Safety Project.  Obligation of this grant requires a Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus between the City and Washington State Department of Transportation.

20-051 - Resolution E-838 - Pedestrian and Bicycle Route Safety Project Local Agency Agreement

The City received state funding in the amount of $ 598,619 for the Cheney High and Betz Elementary Pedestrian and Bicycle Route Safety Project.  The project includes pedestrian crossing improvements, Pedestrian and Bicycle paths around Cheney High School and Betz Elementary.  Obligation of this grant requires a Local Programs State Funding Agreement.

20-052 - Resolution E-839 - Fire Department Roof Repair Project

Fire Department received three quotes to repair the roof on the Fire Station.
