23-081 - Resolution F-177 - 2023 N 6th Street & Betz Road TIB Roundabout Consultant Agreement

The City contracts with Parametrix for engineering services and desires to have Parametrix perform preliminary engineering and bidding services for the N 6th / Betz Road Roundabout Project. A TIB Consultant Agreement is required for TIB grant funding reimbursement at 90% reimbursement.

23-082 - Resolution F-178 - 2023 Residential Street Preservation Project Contract Award

Bids were opened on August 9th, 2023 for the 2023 Residential Street Preservation Project. 3 bids were received, with Shamrock Paving submitting the lowest responsible bid in the amount of $ 209,880.00. The Engineer’s estimate for this project was $ 323,985.00

23-083 - Resolution F-179 - Cheney Swimming Pool Demolition and Surplus of Salvage Material

Through the passage of Proposition No. 1 on the August 1, 2023 Primary Election Ballot, Cheney residents voted in favor of constructing a new Aquatics Facility that will occupy an expanded site where the existing Cheney Municipal Pool is located. Demolition of the existing pool and surrounding structures is necessary for work to begin on the new Aquatic Facility. Throughout the demolition process, Staff plan to undertake efforts to salvage items of value from the existing facilities and dispose them to third parties.

23-084 - Resolution F-180 - 2023 Sidewalk Repairs Project Appropriation Increase

The Mayor approved a small contract with Five Star Concrete on 6/13/2023 for the 2023 Sidewalk Repairs Project. Staff is requesting an appropriation increase to cover  additional sidewalk and concrete repairs that have since materialized. The original approved contract was $ 5,730.00. Staff requests to increase the contract amount to $ 20,400.00.
