[ARCHIVED] Residential Garbage Service Delayed Due to Holidays

With the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays falling mid-week, Cheney's residential garbage service customers will see delays in their service for the last 2 weeks of the year.  For customers who normally have garbage pickup on Monday or Tuesday, nothing will change.  But customers whose normal garbage service days are Wednesday or Thursday should plan to place their garbage carts curbside one day later than normal for the last two weeks of 2019.

City offices are closed for Christmas (Wednesday, December 25) and New Year's Day (Wednesday, January 1), but will open again on Thursday morning.  If you have questions about residential garbage service, contact the Public Works Department at (509) 498-9293.
