[ARCHIVED] City of Cheney to Open Its Yard Waste Pad to Residents in Response to Windstorm

CHENEY, Wash. - In response to this week’s windstorm, the City of Cheney will be opening its yard waste pad to residents for free disposal of trees, limbs and event created debris. Please limit or cut wood length to 4' or less.

The service will begin on January 19th and run through January 29th, or until the pad reaches capacity. Weather permitting, hours of operation will be 11:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. 1/19 – 1/23 and 1/26 – 1/29.  

Due to space constraints, some wait time may occur between vehicles. Please keep logs and branches to 4' or less. Social-distancing and mask requirements are required on the premises. This service is limited to City of Cheney utility customers.

The City of Cheney’s Yard Waste Pad is located at the entrance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 119 Anderson Rd. Cheney, WA 99004.
