Paving contractors will begin street overlay and patching work in Cheney beginning on Monday, August 8.  Specific areas will include:

• Front Street
• 2^nd Street, from D to B Street
• Washington Street, W. 6^th to 1^st ST/SR-904
• N 8^th Street & Sunrise

Paving work is expected to take approximately 35 working days.  Overall project work will include tree work, pavement grinding, patching, pre-leveling and paving, and curb/sidewalk replacement.  Street segments will be blocked off and motorists & pedestrians will have to find alternate routes.
