Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, garbage service normally scheduled for pickup on Thursday, November 24, 2022 will be picked up on Friday, November 25.  This includes both commercial dumpsters and residential customers.  

For the week of Thanksgiving, the Cheney Recycle Center will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 22 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday, and will re-open on Saturday, November 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

While the yard waste bins at the Recycle Center are usually closed immediately after Thanksgiving weekend, due to our late leaf drop this year, the yard waste bins will remain open through the end of November, weather permitting.
