[ARCHIVED] Snow Plowing Plan - November 29/30 Storm Event

The City of Cheney’s Street Department is currently monitoring weather reports in anticipation of heavy snow accumulation likely occurring over the next several days. Snow plow crews will begin with arterial streets and gradually phase in residential streets as conditions allow.

Residents are reminded that vehicles MUST be moved off City streets any time 2” of snow (or more) accumulates, and must remain off the streets until the snow has been removed.  This is especially important to allow emergency vehicles access to all parts of our City.  Please help our crews by removing all cars, trucks, motorhomes, boats, trailers, basketball hoops, etc., from the city right-of-way.  Failure to do so could result in a citation and having the vehicle towed at your expense.

The City will continue to monitor conditions and post updates as they occur.
