[ARCHIVED] Residential Garbage Service Delayed Due to Holidays

With the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays falling on Sundays this year, Cheney's residential & commercial garbage service customers will see delays in their service for the last 2 weeks of the year.  City offices will be closed on Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2, and garbage pickups will be one day later than usual for the last two weeks of 2023.

The Recycling Center will be open regular hours, Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  Recycle Center customers are reminded that we CANNOT accept wrapping paper.

If you have questions about residential garbage service, contact the Public Works Department at (509) 498-9293.
