Are there any other special requirements?
Customer opens and closes all Trenches. Trenches for primary conductor (prior to the transformer) must be a minimum of 30” below final grade. For secondary conductor (after the transformer) the trench must be a minimum of 24”. Maximum of (3) 90 degree sweeps.
The maximum mounting height of any meter is 72” above final grade.
An external main disconnect is required on all services except commercial services with a dedicated transformer.
All direct metered commercial customers must have a by-pass style meter base.
Multi-family dwellings must have unit number placarded on the meter base.
