2. City of Cheney residents can choose to participate in our curbside yard waste pickup program. The City provides you with a 96-gallon green cart to be used for curbside pickup of yard waste. This service runs from April 1st through October 31st of each year. Yard waste carts are emptied on the same day as regular trash pickup. There is a fee of $12 per month that will be added to your utility bill. During the months that the service is inactive, simply keep your yard waste cart in storage for the next year.
